General If your story doesn't fit into any of the predefined categories, drop it in the general category. From time to time, if we see a genre become more popular, we will make a new category and move articles out of general.

Fantasy Do you dream of dragons and other mythical beasts? Are you leading a quest of adventurers on a perilous quest through a mythical forest? If so, this is the section for you.

Romance Is love in the air? Do your characters get all flustered when they lay eyes upon each other? If so, you might be writing a piece of romantic fiction.

Sci-Fi Writing an epic space opera that shakes the fabric of space and time? Are there robots taking over the world that's being defended by a ragtag group of hardened soldiers? Sounds like Science Fiction to me.
